Behind the Scenes - Basket Case

I drew the image directly on the block. No tracing paper, no transfers, etc.

I first carved the key block - black. Then carved a block for each of three primary colors, red, blue, yellow. So four blocks were carved.

One can vary the printing, from light to dark. Look under the heading Woodblocks-Relief to find the final print.
